Grades are an essential part of the classroom experience, and both students and teachers need to be able to communicate about such things. However, it is often difficult, especially in large classrooms, for a teacher and student to interact, and quickly access the students grades. Gradebook is a wonderful computer program that allows the teacher to upload grades online, and allows the student to check their grades immediately via the Internet.

If your school uses Gradebook, be it either your highschool or university, you will need to first download and install the application to your computer. Some schools have Gradebook installed on the school lab computers, and are available to access freely. However, I'd suggesto install it on your computer, as it is most useful that way. Check your schools website for download options for this program.

Next, you will need to login to Gradebook to access your grade reports. Your school or network administrator should provide you with login details, generally your school ID number and a preset password. Using this, login to Gradebook. It may take a minute or so, especially if you are on a slow connection, for Gradebook to connect to the main server. Make sure that a firewall like ZoneAlarm or another type of program is not blocking Gradebook, otherwise you'll run into a connection error.
