How to Manage Your Folders in Your Hotmail Account

In this guide I will show you how to manage your folders in your Hotmail account. This guide will be helpful to you if you are new to web based email. In this guide I will show you how to create new folders, delete folders, rename folders, and more. Go ahead and log in to your Hotmail account. How to Create a New Folder
The first thing I will show you is how to create a new folder. Once you log in to your email account you will see a link on the left side that says Manage Folders. Click on that link to go to your folders page. The next page that you will see will have a row of buttons at the top of it. Click on the New button. The next page will have a field for you to type the name of your new folder. Type in the name of the folder in that field and click the Save button at the top. The next page will show a list of your folders. You will also notice that the folder you just created will be on the left side of your window with your other folders. To create more folders, repeat the steps above.
How to Delete Folders
Next, I will show you how to delete folders from your Hotmail account. Click on the Manage Folders link on the left side of your screen. Your list of folders will appear on the next page. Tick the box next to the folder that you want to delete to check it. Then click the Delete button at the top of your window. A box will pop up and ask you if you are sure that you want to delete this folder. Click OK to delete it.
How to Rename a Folder
Renaming a folder is fairly easy. Click on the Manage Folders link again. When the next page loads, tick the box next to the folder that you want to rename. Then click the rename button at the top of the page. Type the name of the new folder in the field that is provided. Then click the Save button to save it. That will rename your folder.
How to Move an Email to a Folder
Next, I will show you how to move an email to another folder. Tick the box next to the email that you want to move. At the top of your window you will see a drop down box that says Move To. Drop that box down and select the folder that you want to move it to. That will automatically move that email to that folder.
