In the world of fashion, trends may come and go. If you know how to dress for your body type, frame, and shape, you will be able to maximize your wardrobe by purchasing items that you know will work well with your body. You'll be able to save a ton of money by investing in key pieces that accentuate your assets, and detract from your body flaws. You will then be able to pick up new trends each season that you know will look good on you. This is return, will mean that you won't be staring at embarassing photos of yourself years from now. Below is a list of the most common problem areas for women, and some good choices to detract attention from that area, as well as some styles to steer clear of.

1) Large Chest: Some think having a large chest is a blessing. For those that don't, there are ways to draw attention elsewhere. Some good choices are suprisingly to play up your bottom half, via wide leg pants, or a full or printed skirt. Minimizer bras, although not the most attractive lingerie in the world, really do help to take anywhere from 1/2" to 2 full inches off the bustline. V-necklines are the best choice on top, as are light shoulder padded garments, as they bring the eye upward. Deep scoop necks and boat neck tops are also good choices. A couple of bad choices may surprise you. Turtlenecks can make you look droopy since the illusion of the neck starts so high. Crewneck and very tight tees are not flattering either. Any extra pockets, pintucks, ruffles, or other bustline detail can also make you look larger.

2) Flabby Arms: This one is pretty easy problem to take care of. Any length sleeve that covers or skims the embarassing upper arm flab is going to work well, especially bracelet length sleeves and sweaters, as well as kimono sleeves, which are still all the rage. Sleeveless tops or sweaters are going to be the worst choice.
