America's Greatest Tragedy: Killing Babies by Their Own Mothers
Women Ending the Lives of Babies in the Name of Convenience
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."It's one of the most horrible crimes imaginable. A woman becomes pregnant, yet instead of being filled with joy and happiness at the thought of becoming a parent, she makes an appointment and has her baby killed. The saddest of this? The baby hasn't even taken the first breath of air, has never been held, has never been rocked to sleep ... and never will. The "mom" took all that away from the baby by ending his or her life, calling it abortion.
There are far too many people that think a baby that is still in the mother's body growing is not a baby and that it's okay to kill the baby because it's still in the mother's body. Killing is killing, and murder is murder. The fact that the baby is still inside the mother's body doesn't make taking a life anything less than killing. It simply means the baby is still growing inside the mother's body.
When a woman is pregnant, she doesn't say her fetus just kicked her. She will say that her baby just kicked her. When a new mom is shopping for things for her baby that's on the way, she won't say she went shopping for fetus clothes or a fetus bed, a fetus stroller, fetus bottles, and the like. But rather the mom will say that she went shopping for baby clothes and a baby bed, baby bottles, a baby stroller, etc. She doesn't say she found a cute pink or blue fetus blanket.
A pregnant woman, a new mom, will call her baby just that, a baby. Friends and family that might make someone handcrafted for the new baby won't give it to the mom at the baby shower and call it a fetus or tissue gift, nor do we have fetus or tissue showers, but rather we have baby showers.

Very good points to a highly debated and controversial topic. Great examples with Peterson and Cutts. Regardless of whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, ppl need to realize that it is true they try to dehumanize it by calling the unborn a "fetus" or "tissue". Only in the context of an abortion is the unborn child referred to this way.

to the person who said "sometimes it is for the best" what if YOUR MOTHER had an abortion?? you wouldnt be here to be able to tell people "sometimes it is for the best" how would you feel if your "mother" killed you and never even gave you the chance to have the oppinions you have today??
i am a mother myself and going through pregnancy and now motherhood i just dont understand how someone could do that to their unborn child. a baby is a baby... even if it hasnt taken a breath yet. you should love it and cherish it.
there are some women out there who would do just about anything to be able to have a baby and struggle for years to even get pregnant and there are people outthere using abortion as birth control. its just horrible. i am pro-life 100% and PROUD OF IT!
At this point... a 2.2 Rating. Would you expect anything else? When the truth hurts, people will respond in anger and try to hurt by doing whatever damage they can (apparently as a response from the guilt and anger cause by reading an honest and truthful article). This reminds me of the song by Casting Crowns "While you were sleeping." The line which said: "United States of America, Looks like another silent night, As we're sung to sleep by philosophies,That save the trees and kill the children." Such a profound and absolutly true statement! Best answer for those who have murdered their chidren for the sake of convienience, pray. Pray hard and pray long just as I will also do for you that you can be redeeemed.

For those pro- choice, so being ripped apart, or stabbed thru the skull aftr being yanked out of the womb, or burned over 48 hours, or poisioned to death, or abandoned after the abortion goes wrong are left to die from starvation and neglect, cold, and naked is better than living and maybe being adopted. People working in abortion clinics admit they are killing babies! It is well known a heart beats no later than 8 days after conception, pain is felt no later than 13 weeks after developement. I hope most of you who are prochoice are just ignorant to the fact of how abortions are performed. Do research, look at the pictures of the aborted and tell me YOU ARE PRO CHOICE then! Talk to women who have had abortions. How many think it is no big deal, would do it again in a heart beat? 100, 1, or 0? They know it's wrong now.

Sometimes it is for the best??? Speaking as a person that is alive it would be easy to say that I guess. Well Hitler thought he was putting non-perfect race out of their misery cause they weren't the "chosen" people too. How dare any person think they know what is best for another person. That is completely egotistical. I am not judging people's situations, but I do think that someone needs to stand up for the innocence that is being murdered. Don't you judge a person who goes in a kills students in a classroom? You can't have it both ways. Wrong is wrong and you can't simply take a passive attitude. Oh I don't judge..bull everyone does.

I don't see how there is ANY reason to kill a baby! Call them what you want to make your conscience feel better about it...(Fetus, unborn...whatever, they're STILL a living being!) but it doesn't give you the right to KILL period! (((I don't understand why murder INSIDE the womb is ok but OUTSIDE it isn't? It's the SAME thing!))) At no time should the baby be punished for it's parents actions...be it unplanned, rape, or incest! The inocent child is not to blame! AND carrying it to term & giving birth to that child IS the best for it! Life is a gift...& who knows WHAT these murdered children could offer to the world except that they were considered "inconvienent" & were never given the chance! (BTW...most women have abortions because it's a convienent form of birth control...if you're not prepared for a baby, KEEP YOUR PANTS ON! I've heard of women in India being forced by their husbands to kill their newborn daughters simply because they weren't male. It's a tragedy, but then I remember that it's culture and personal beliefs that drive people to do this.
So how is killing the baby before it's born best for the baby? Just who is killing a baby best for? What situation makes it okay to kill an innocent baby? What happens if a woman doesn't get an abortion? The baby lives!
