The pet paper puppy kids craft can be made by toddlers 18 and up, with some help. Children three and up may be able to make this one without much assistance.

Materials for Paper Crafts: Pet Paper Puppy

1 sheet of color card stock or construction paper for the background

1 sheet of brown construction paper

1 sheet of white construction paper

1 sheet of black construction paper

1 sheet of orange or red construction paper

1 black crayon

glue stick or Elmer's glue, or your favorite glue for kids or make your own glue

Note about color choices: In the pet paper puppy for kids crafts the paper colors given here are for a more traditional looking puppy. Kids can, and will, make a pet puppy out of any colors they really like.

Beyond brown, black and white puppies, kids may want to make a purple puppy with yellow spots, or a blue puppy with orange spots!

The puppy body can be nice round shape. Make it big or small, depending on the size of the puppy. Also make a large one for the mom or dad dog, or make a whole mess of puppies!

Also tear a round, smaller shape for the head of the puppy.

Don't forget the ears. They can be round, oval, pointy, or big and floppy.

Kids can tear five strips of paper. One long strip for the tail. Plus four shorter strips for the legs. Puppies can be short or tall, so let kids decide on how long the legs will be.

The paper puppy may not be named spot, but he could still used some spots on his face and body.

Tear out rounded spots in black or white, or other complementary color to make spots for the puppy.
