The Henry Ford Museum, located in Dearborn, MI has a new exhibit this summer that is sure to spark the attention of the young and old alike. It's called Rock Stars' Car and Guitars. The name pretty much says it all. The exhibit features a variety of hot rod cars, motorcycles and guitars that were owned by some of the most notorious rock musical artists of all time.

This exhibit displays 20 cars, 30 guitars, with tons of entertainment. Any rock music lover will surely enjoy this presentation. As you enter the beginning of the exhibit, there is a booth set up there sponsored by Verizon Wireless. They give you a backstage pass to wear and instructions on how you can get more info abut each car, guitar, or artist through a Verizon Wireless phone. They will give you a phone to use during your walk through or if you already have a cell phone with Verizon Wireless service, you can dial a special number at each stop to get more information. Each display has a number associated with it and when you dial it, you can get hear information from the artist directly.

The various rock artists whose cars are included in this exhibit are some of Detroit Rock City's favorites; Kid Rock, Bob Segar, Madonna and Ted Nugent. Other artists include Elton John, Elvis Presley, Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Samy Hagar, ZZ Top, Bon Jovi, Kiss, The Beach Boys, John Lennon, Marilyn Manson, Jimmie Vaughn, Metallica, Bad Religion, and U2. The guitars displayed come from B.B. King, Rick Nielsen, Ted Nugent, Kirk Hammet, Billy Gibbons, Kiss, Jimmie Vaughn, Dusty Hill, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and John Lennon.
