As I said, I would continue "clearing the air," and as I said, I'll dedicate this chapter to the Mormons. You might not have noticed it, but the Mormon was already mentioned in the previous chapter, so I might as well continue my rant with them. It amazes me that there are more than 3000 different "Christian" sects in the world. Jesus and his disciples warned that there would be divisions in the church, but who would've thought these divisions would reach such an overwhelming number. Now, come on now, Mormons. Another "testament" of Jesus? You do realize that by your teaching this, you're blatantly contradicting every scripture that makes the claim that Jesus was leaving the earth to go to heaven, and sit at the right hand of "GOD."

He made no mention of making any appearances before his "second" coming. Then, his coming to judge the earth wouldn't be his "second" coming at all. I'm sure we all know that the exploration of this western hemisphere began in 1492. Are we to believe that the Gospel wasn't brought with these explorers? The history is widely known of the conversion tactics used by the early explorers of these western continents, so I find it safe to say that the use of another "testament" was unnecessary. You do realize that the word "testament" is translated as "covenant," right? "GOD" found reason to expel the "old" covenant because no man could be found perfect by this covenant, and therefore, sought another means for men to be saved, and justified. Jesus shedding his blood for the world, willingly, is the foundation of the "new" covenant. To even use the term "testament" shows a lack of understanding, and is nothing less than claiming the murder of Jesus to be in vain, for if this "covenant" were satisfactory, another would not have been sought after by your Joseph Smith.

Takeaways
  • Then, his coming to judge the earth
  • that the word "testament" is translated as "covenant,"
Did You Know?
that the law, or "old covenant," was hung on the cross with Jesus, but then use the laws given to Moses that allowed polygamy in order to fulfill their own lusts.
