American Idol on Fox: Bios of its Latest Stars

Lets’ face it; America loves “American Idol”. It is one of the most watched television shows in America these days. And what is not to love? It has hot guys, and girls singing their hearts out for YOUR votes and approval. What other show can you watch that you actually have an impact on the outcome of what is to come? The show is absolutely brilliant!

Now only 5 contestants remain to battle each other once again in song for their chance at the title “American Idol”. Those contestants I’m sure you all have come to know and love, or maybe hate by now, all have their own very different styles, There is Chris Daughtry, 26 year old devoted Father and Husband from McLeansville, NC Chris started singing at the age of 16. Chris tells American Idol “I’m living my dream now” in a Q&A interview for www.americanidol.com He also goes on to say that if he does not make it on American Idol that no matter what “I will continue to pursue my music and live my life with my family.”

Then there is also Elliott Yamin, 27 year old Richmond, VA man says he started singing at the age of 5, with no previous formal singing training, Elliott says that he likes to “Do funny voices and impressions.” Elliott says the toughest obstacle in his life is, “Learning to manage my diabetes.” Elliott’s favorite artists are Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and Usher. He says that his mom is His American Idol, “She's overcome a lot of adverse situations. She's a very strong-willed woman!”

Moving on now to 22 year old Katharine Mcphee, Katharine is from Los Angeles, CA Her favorite artists are Whitney Houston, and Brian McKnight. Katharine believes that the judging was very unfair, saying “They let go of some really good people and kept people who were pretty.” Well that may be, I’ve also heard rumors that the show is fixed so that Katharine will win the show, time will only tell I suppose.
