Make the Most of Wi-Fi Hotspots in Your City

I have written many essays and articles about Wi - Fi being and growing increasingly important and there are more and more reasons why it is needed in and for every day life. It's becoming more of a necessity with each new technology revolution. With more and more people needing Wi - Fi (Wireless Fidelity) access daily, a number of cities in the United States of America are treating high - speed wireless Internet as a basic convenience for citizens, like running water or the electricity grid. It's also good for the tourism industry because many people traveling on business trips, or for a holiday find it very useful and make them all the more happier to go there.
Seattle is the most Wi - Fi friendly city in America, according to the Intel's yearly Survey of "Most Unwired City", it's been said that you cannot walk through this city without finding many Wireless networks appearing on your phone or Laptop. Seattle is thereafter followed by San Francisco, Austin (Texas), Portland (Ore) and Atlanta. The survey orders the cities according to the number of commercial and public wireless access points, or hot spots, plus airports with wireless access and broadband availability.
The upgrade to mainstream Wi - Fi has given cheap wireless access to people around these cities, but not everyone is happy because the telephone or Telecom companies are complaining that with the consumers able to make cheap phone calls if not free over the Internet, with services like Skype (A free Voip (voice over internet protocol) solution, use requires the ability to record and playback audio. The creators of which are Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis. The network is supplied by all users of the free desktop software application together. Skype users can talk to other Skype users free of charge, call conventional telephone handsets for a little price (SkypeOut), obtain calls from conventional phones (SkypeIn), and acquire voicemail messages.), it's bad for the telephone business as many will turn away from the traditional way of making phone calls if they make phone calls at all.
