Have you been searching for days for the perfect little boy's gift but still have nothing to bring to the birthday party? Sometimes shopping can be a burden, when you have no ideas of what to shop for. Here are a couple of suggestions for gifts that are sure to bring a smile to the birthday boy's face.

1st year

Babies at this age are just beginning to walk, talk, and they seem to love loud sounds and music. The gift for this age should help encourage the skills he has already learned over the past year. Maybe a soft car that actually moves across the floor along with baby. This would definitely keep baby crawling around and staying active. Children are naturally curious, so make sure you gift will keep baby guessing for a while. Playskool has a car called Wheel Pals that are very reasonably priced that little boys would love to play with. At this price you could actually buy him a couple Wheel Pals because Playskool offers several different ones in different colors. Each car has a different friendly facial expression.

2nd Year

At two years old the little man probably thinks he is way bigger than he really is. This means it is time for him to have his own set of toys, and maybe even a workshop. This would also allow help to help dad around the house with all the fixer up projects that dad has on his list. The little man might even be able to encourage dad to move a little faster on the projects. Many of the new tool sets and workshops on the market today actually make sounds similar to the real product and move. For example the saw will spin around although it is completely safe and will not cut anyone!
