Millions of people suffer from acne problems today. If you're one of those statistics then its more likely that you receive some numerous ways of preventing acne breakouts or even heard some acne cures. But sad to say that there are lots of myth about acne that are flying around. Such myths have no scientific proofs behind them. Separating the fact and fiction would help you to make the right decision in regards to acne prevention. Chocolates - This is a very common myth. "Don't eat chocolates coz they cause pimples". Fortunately, you can keep munching on those goodies, for this no scientific proof that chocolates can cause acne breakouts. Although, eating too much is not really good for your health generally. But if you eat your balance diet, munching on a chocolate bar wouldn't do any harm.
French Fries - Although heavy consumption of French fries isn't really good for your health, but consuming such processed foods really don't cause acne. The only thing that you get from eating too much French fries would your health will deteriorate and gain weight. Although acne may surface but it's the farthest of possibilities. There are lots of other factors that can be labeled as "Prime Suspects".
Popping Acne - If you're one of the people that believe that popping your acne would help it clear faster. Then you're in for a surprise. Doing such can cause further problems such as infection or worst, acne scarring.
We have busted some common myths about acne and now I'll leave you some information that really does help in acne prevention.
First of all, drink plenty of water. Yep! Good old water. For best results gulp up to at least eight glasses of water a day. This will help your body regulate fresh and clean water through out your system. The cleaner blood you have the healthier you cells would be. That includes the cells in your skin. Healthier skin cells, less acne breakouts, simple as that.
