Philosophy's Pumpkin Pie 3 in 1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath and Shampoo

I love the fall, I love the holidays that come with the fall, and most of all I love the scents that are associated with the lovely season. Pumpkin Pie most of all.

I have never been a huge fan of Philosophy products, but when I ran into their 3 in 1 Pumpkin Pie scented shower product I knew I had to have it. It reminded me a lot of Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Pie Paradise scent, but it was richer, and for the first time pretty damn realistic. Every other Philosophy product I have tried has always failed when it came to smelling realistic, but Philosophy really whipped up a special batch while making this one. It seriously smells like a freshly baked Pumpkin Pie, with just the right amount of cinnamon and spice. It's definitely a drool fest.

Pumpkin Pie comes in a 16 ounce clear bottle. What sets this one apart from any other Pumpkin Pie bath treat is that the bottle actually comes with a recipe for making your very own Pumpkin Pie. I have yet to use there recipe, but when the season calls for the desert I will be reporting back to let you know how it turned out.

In case you want to give it a go now though, here is the recipe:

1 unbaked pie shell, 15 oz. can pumpkin puree, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. ginger, 2 tsp. molasses, 3 eggs beaten, 1 c. evaporated milk. mix all ingredients before blending in eggs and evaporated milk. carefully pour pumpkin pie filling into pie shell. bake 40 min. at 425 degrees, or until set to desired consistency.

Pumpkin Pie is one of Philosophy's winners, literately. It won best body wash by allure magazine. That says a lot I suppose, users of this sweet product can't be wrong, and they're not.

The gel is quite thick, but not too thick as to where it's difficult to get it out of the spout. It is a pearly orange color which captures the color of a real pumpkin quite nicely.
