Fresh of his interesting to say the very least performance of his second single "Amusement Park" at the 2007 Black Entertainment Television Awards, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is looking to once again rule the airwaves. With a new album on the way, 50 Cent wants to show the world he is once again the hottest name in urban music. Arriving in stores on September 4th, 2007, C.U.R.T.I.S. looks for Curtis to recapture the multi-platinum success of his previous albums "Get Rich Or Die Trying" and "The Massacre."

After lackluster albums from fellow G-Unit members Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep and Young Buck, 50 Cent is looking to put his company on his back and get the G-Unit back on track.

The first single off the album was "Straight To The Bank." The single was a gritty street anthem which was featured prominently on the television show "24-7" which chronicled the Oscar de la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather championship fight. 50 Cent even walked Floyd Mayweather down the aisle rapping the track. The single never really caught on with the general masses and was considered a flop on television and radio. The track was co-produced by multi-platinum producer Dr. Dre and relative newcomer Ty Fyffe.

The second single off of C.U.R.T.I.S. is the aptly titled "Amusement Park." The single tries to capture the magic of other 50 first singles such as "In The Club" and "Just A Lil Bit" but falls flatly on its face. It just seems so cliché in a genre full of sexually suggestive songs. The track was produced by newcomers Dangerous LLC.

The "street" third single is the gritty street anthem "I Get Money" which is the remix to "Straight To The Bank." With an old school sample and old school flow, 50 finally delivers a solid track on the album.

The "official" third single however is "She Wants It" featuring pop superstar Justin Timberlake. This is the crossover single that 50 has been looking for. Previously named "Ayo Technology", "She Wants It" has 50 rapping while Justin sings the chorus over a Timbaland dance beat in the same genre as Justin Timberlake's previous single "My Love."

if you love hip hop you will not love this music. its faggy rap commercial hip pop. why has rap artists become sell outs? hip hop is an art and 50 cent does not reflect that art at all. he has no subject matter, no lyrics, and no depth. how many songs can one man make about getting money and banging chicks. i have heard all the album snippets and it sounds bad. 3/5 it surely is not even close to being a classic hip hop album comparable to the likes of only built for cuban links or illmatic if you review hip hop albums know some thing about hip hop please
