They are not all alike and the incentives can vary. The best thing to do next is to contact your credit union or banking institute for how large a loan and what interest rate you qualify for. Never ever ever finance through the dealership unless you have no other choice. Once you have gone into the finance department of a dealership to finish up your deal you are in shark infested waters. They make their money by bumping up interest rates and selling you extended warranties. Make sure the final price you have agreed upon does not change on the bottom line of the paperwork.
Beware of 0% interests rates. They are a hook to get you into the dealership. You have to have very good credit to actually get the rate and if you are late just one time the rate jumps up tremendously. If the manufacturer offers 0% interests rates or rebates always choose the rebate and finance somewhere else. Hopefully you belong to a credit union. Their rates are normally better than a banks.
Next, if you are trading a vehicle into the dealer go on Kelly Blue Book and look up not only what the trade in value is but how much it is worth retail and being sold privately. You take these three prices and decide what you think is the fair trade amount. Now seriously, there are no miracles. If your driving a hunk of junk don't expect to get top dollar for it.
