Signs that Your Relationship Could Be Over

Many of us have been in relationships where we felt that we would do anything for our partner and our partner felt the same, but somewhere down the line our partner became bitter and almost impossible to reason with, the love that once mutually flowed from both hearts became cold and estranged.

It hurts to be dumped, but you may be able to prepare yourself from this awful feeling of rejection, if you know the signs of a failing relationship, below are some signs that your relationship could be over.

Constant arguing- You find that you and your partner now argue over everything even the most senseless things.

Constantly putting you down- Your partner is constantly telling you of things he does not like about you, or is telling you of the things that you do poorly. Your partner has become your enemy.

Does not return your phone calls, avoids you- You call and call only to get a voice mail or someone on the other line who says he is not there when you can hear him in the background. He does not return your calls no matter how worried you sound.

No one seems to know where he is- Because you can not seem to reach him, you call his friends and family but no one seems to know where he is. When you ask where he is, you are quickly and coldly told I don't know. If this happens chances are he has already alerted his friends and family of your break up.

Requests some space with an indefinite amount of time- Tells you that space is needed, and does not tell you how long.

Distant mutual friends- The friends that you once shared are now giving you the cold shoulder, and this is because they have already chosen sides.

Ultimatum no way around it- Gives you an ultimatum, with no other way of resolving the situation, in this case you may do what it is asked but it does not seem to fix the situation.

Has cheated on you more than once, this is a red flag that he devalues your relationship, and he will keep cheating on you.

Threatens to cheat on you, if he does this he is giving you a heads up of what he is about to do.
