Citrus and shimmer are the top trends in nail polish this summer. Manicurists around the US are forecasting that either bright oranges and cherries or shimmery whites and pinks will be seen gracing trendsetters' hands and feet. These are the colors that will define the Summer of '07! They'll be the perfect finishing touches to those long , halter dresses, Lucite bangles and gladiator sandals.

Hot weather brights are more popular than ever. Gone are the creamy roses and tawny sands of previous Julys and Augusts. Fruit punch-y colors are highlighting well tanned fingers and toes. OPI has a mouth watering array of juice inspired shades. Try the company's Red Hot Ayers Rock , from their Australia collection, Also try the Aussie inspired, Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It and A True Ab-Original. These are in your face punchy geranium colors that will offset a tan along with highlighting an eyelet mini and gold bangles. Other OPI hues worth considering are Melon of Troy , Don't Be Koi With Me and Cajun Shrimp. Essie also has a slew of shades that fit right in. Their Carousel Coral is the perfect shade to wear with those Lilly Pulitzer inspired maxi dresses. The old standby of beauty - Revlon - has summery shades suited to this "juice" mania.Go with Passion Punch Shimmer on hands and Passion Punch on toes for a complimentary color scheme. For a less intense look, try Tuscan Sun on both hands and feet. Another casual shade is Flushed Blush, perfect for both workdays and weekend barbecues. Paint on Revlon's long wearing water resistant color stay in the citrus hued Always Flaunting.
