Guide to Selecting Bath and Body Works Products: Aromatherapy
The aromatherapy line at Bath and Body Works has some good products, but do you know which scent you want? Picking a scent can be daunting if you don't know much about which scent does what. This guide will help.
For relaxation, look for the green packaging that indicates the eucalyptus spearmint scent. This scent can be used to start each day on the right foot, or anytime you feel stress coming on.
To prepare yourself for a good night's sleep, try using the sleep formula just before bed. The sleep products come in blue packaging and have two scents: lavender and lavender vanilla. These aromatherapy products will reduce anxiety and relax both your mind and body. Falling asleep in this relaxed state will help you sleep more soundly and even wake up feeling more rested.
The energy formula should leave you feeling upbeat. These aromatherapy products can be found in amber packaging and come in an orange ginger scent.
The last aromatherapy formula at Bath and Body Works is designed to enhance sensuality. These products are marked by red packaging; the two scents are jasmine vanilla and black currant vanilla. With the sensuality formulas you should feel relaxed and confident. (And sensual, of course).
Aromatherapy was originally intended to use essential oils or plant oils to enhance one's physical and/or psychological well being. Each formula is designed to produce a certain feeling. Therefore, to use aromatherapy in the most effective manner, you should select a scent based on what it will do for you, rather than picking based on scent alone. However, you could pick a scent just because you like it.
Once you have a scent picked out, selecting specific products should be easier. Products include shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, massage oil, hand cream and even home fragrance oil.
