Grey's Anatomy will flourish, Washington will suffer
Isaiah Washington's continuous action related to the Grey's Anatomy drama does not benefit him at all. When information about his statements against homosexuals was released by the media, he was not seen in a good light. Instead, Isaiah Washington was made to look like a homophobic person who makes insults about his co-stars. This did not cause much trouble for the TV show. In fact, it crated more buzz for many actors involved in this drama. Unfortunately, the anti-gay slur was not the end of tension between Isaiah Washington and Grey's Anatomy.

He was fired from the TV show following Grey's third season on air. In turn, Isaiah Washington created more turmoil with accusations of discrimination by the TV executives and more blame on actor T.R. Knight. Media outlets sucked it up like a vacuum and both parties have remained on the radar. However, this additional publicity will cause Isaiah Washington to look like a bad guy. Grey's Anatomy will get more viewers based on the buzz surrounding the show. That will be good for the show, which has a new season slated to air in November 2007. Still, there is a huge chance that Isaiah Washington will not get his job back on Grey's Anatomy.

Not marketable with the Studios
Some company's can handle controversy. However, the drama surrounding Grey's Anatomy due to the actions of Isaiah Washington may not be welcome by any TV or movie studio. These companies will be concerned with their public image and revenue potential. If there is an actor speaking ill about his or her co-stars and talking negatively about those related to a particular production, studios are not going to accept that. This could have a negative impact on Washington's career.

NBC just hired Washington to be in the new show The Bionic Woman- a remake of the very popular 1970's tv show. The man has a big mouth- but that does not take away from him being a very talented actor.
