10 First Date Mistakes
Chances are that you are making huge mistakes in your first dates that are nearly imperceptible. The first date is not like hanging out with your friends. You have to show that you are a gentleman and not some guy who just got out of the bar. Dating has some rules and you should know them.
Common First Date Mistakes:
1.) Don't Talk about Your Ex-Girlfriend: Even though it is a common topic of interest, talking about your ex-partner can be really boring. No one wants to know how bad they were, what your personal philosophy on dating or that you talk behind people's back.
2.) Bragging: Bragging about your self can get annoying. Even though you want to give a good impression bragging will sound more like you are trying too hard and making yourself appear more than you actually are.
3.) Cheap: You don't have to spend your entire paycheck to show a lady a good time. Many women complain that that cheapness is a complete turn off. However, they didn't have to pay for it so their concern is a little jaded. Try and find a balance for a nice dating location and one that won't make you go broke.
4.) Attracting a Lot of Attention: The lady should be the center of attraction. Even though you are trying to focus on your positive traits the ultimate goal is to have the lady do most of the talking. Shower her with your listening skills.
5.) Don't Talk about Politics: You have no idea what the political beliefs are of the other person. It is always wise to stay away from this discussion if you can.
6.) Don't Invite Your Friends: It is acceptable to meet up with your friends after the date but don't have them show up unexpectedly during the date. This appears as though you are showing off your date and puts her in an uncomfortable situation.
