Many parents want their child to do more than sit in front of the television all day long. When they try to get their child involved in activities, they can often only think of a few things to do. Here's a list of things that you can do with your child when they begin to sit a little too long in front of the "one eyed monster." You can print this list out and put it on your refrigerator to help remind you of all the fun activities that can be had inside and outside of the house that doesn't involve cable or satellite. The following is a list of 50 things to do with your child.

Go for a walk
Sing and dance
Collect leaves
Draw on a sidewalk
Go to the zoo
Race little matchbox cars
Make a snack
Visit somebody you know
Take a cool bath with your swim suits on
Wash the car
Put puzzles together
Play dress up
Go fishing
Write a story together
Finger paint

This is really good stuff. I like taking them to the park and walk around with my camera and take pics and later put the pics on computer and make a picture slide show with kids fav music and let them watch it. They love to see the creative things you can do with Pics.

great ideas. I think we will make cards on Friday. Another thing we do here is get paint brushes and fill a pail with "water" and they pretend paint the fence. This sounds crazy but they love it. age four and six
