Anyone who has suffered the horrific irritation of athlete's foot can understand the need for a cure that at the same time soothes the itching and burning. Long time sufferers will go to the ends of the earth in search of this cure. Nothing is more frustrating than the itching sensation you get with athlete's foot. It is like having a horrific patch of poison oak all over your toes. I will tell you, as a victim of athlete's foot myself, I was a bit skeptical about any cure. I have tried many products to cure and relieve my athlete's foot over the years, and have never found consistent relief. Would Desenex be my savior?

After going to my local drugstore and shelling out the 7 bucks for the product I took it home and read the directions. I washed and dried my feet twice, and held the product out 2 to 6 inches from my feet and sprayed the area affected well. It states you should repeat this twice a day for four weeks. I was very careful to follow the directions to the letter.

First Impressions- Immediately upon applying the product I had a wave of euphoria, as the product cools your feet considerably. The itching was completely gone, and in it's place there was a wonderful feeling like your foot is on ice. The pain was gone, the itching was gone, and the burning was completely gone. After ten minutes or so, I began to feel a little itching, but not even close to as severe as usual. There was still no pain or burning. By the time I got to my evening application, the itching was back full force, and the other symptoms were still gone. At this point, I thought I had another product that relieves for a moment, but does not cure.

Final Analysis--I continued the applications like clockwork for the four week period. Each day the relief from the itching would last just a bit longer. From the first application, my burning and pain was healed. By the time I got to week two, the itching was gone as well. As athlete's foot is a fungus, I continued the application for the four weeks that it said to do so, even though it seemed healed after only two weeks. It has been six weeks all told, and I am still athlete's foot free! This product really did the trick!

Takeaways
  • Desenex can help with athlete's foot.
  • Be sure to follow the directions carefully.
  • Hope is out there for athlete's foot sufferers.
