According to Rich Trucking & Logistics, sent out on July 17th, the company has launched their new program for ex-cons and felons called "Get Back to Work".

Rich Trucking & Logistics was launched in 2003 to provide reliable service to those who would like their freight delivered on time. Now in 2007, Rich Trucking & Logistics has come up with the idea of "Get Back to Work" for those ex-cons and felons who cannot seem to find a job due to their criminal background. In the "Get Back to Work" program, those who qualify have the ability to be trained to work as freight broker agents in the transportation industry.

The felons who are chosen for the program go through a process which evaluates, screens and interviews each one individually. Once approved by Rich Trucking & Logistics, the felons that become agents can work directly from their homes in all 50 states.

Meca Rich, who is the CEO of Rich Trucking & Logistics stated in the press release that, "understanding the importance of what it means to have a felon in the home working gives them a second chance".

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Rich Trucking & Logistics is a third party provider that specializes in transportation services, which include full truck loads, half loads and auto carrier services. If you would like more information regarding the "Get Back to Work" program or Rich Trucking & Logistics services, please feel free to go to RichTrucking.com or contact Brandon Petit and 866-530-7424.

If you are a convicted felon or an ex-con, the resources for you to locate a job are extremely difficult. Putting a few search words into Yahoo or Google unfortunately does not work as easily as many people assume. What I suggest you do is go to your local Goodwill, Salvation Army or local church and ask them if they know of any jobs that would hire you. Also go to your local Chamber of Commerce for a list of companies that hire felons. And last but not least, go down to your local employment agency where they can tell you who hires and who does not.

I'm impressed with Rich Trucking and Logistics. It is very, very difficult for those who have a criminal history to find employment, which leads to what? Yep, more criminal activity to survive. Another great report.

This is so commendable for this company to offer ex-cons a new life. I hope it works out on both sides for a very long time. Thanks for the inspirational report.
