We've already finished the sequel part of the movie seasons as the latest installments of Pirates of the Caribbean, Spider-man, Die Hard, Ocean's Twelve and Fantastic Four have come and gone. Now it is time for the television remake portion of the season. We already witnessed Transformers and next up are Underdog and the Simpson Movie. So I thought we should look back at the ten worst television to movie remakes. 10. Charlie's Angels
I was a little bit behind on the Angels so I wasn't watching them until reruns in the early 90's but once I watched them I loved them like everybody else. So I was definitely upset when three worthless actresses were cast as Charlie's Angels, especially since none of them were especially attractive either.
9. Transformers
If you want to know my complaints with the recent Transformers movie you can check out my full review. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Hollywood but I was hopeful for this one because all was needed were giant robots and big explosions and yet they figured out a way to screw it up.
8. Masters of the Universe
Wow. Whose idea was it to make He-Man and Skeletor come to Earth? He-Man belongs on Eternia. That movie also needed less humans and more He-Man characters like Ram Man and Mekaneck. Yeah, they would've been lame, but it was lame anyway so why not go all out.
7. Lost In Space
I would like to tell you about why Lost in Space was so bad, but I can't. I don't remember what happened, it was just that boring. All I remember is that it had Joey from Friends and Claudia from Party of Five.
6. Flintstones
There are some cartoons that can be possibly made into live action movies. Transformers could've worked, G. I. Joe could work, Scooby Doo could have possibly worked. But there is no way to make a live action Flintstones that is actually good.
5. Inspector Gadget
Inspector Gadget is one of the many examples that Matthew Broderick was a one hit wonder with Ferris Bueller. Then again, I'm not sure anybody could've made Inspector Gadget good, but having Broderick play the part sure didn't help.
