For my brother's 13th birthday he decided on the themed of Nintendo. That left me with plenty of planning and doing the party planning myself, as there is not much Nintendo ready made for a party besides Pokemon things. Figuring out what to serve as the main dish was the biggest challenge I had in planning my brother's 13th birthday. I ended up with two ideas, pizza and peanut butter and jelly English muffins.

The Pizza: I had a few ideas on how to make the pizza Nintendo themed. The main idea I had was to make it be a Pokemon, either Electrode or Voltrob depending on if the eyes were put on the white or the red part of the pizza. In the end I just ended up making it be a Pokeball because I forgot to pick up some olives for the eyes when I went grocery shopping. To make the white part I put the pizza sauce on the crust (I used one of the Pillsbury roll out pizza crusts) and then put on the Mozzarella shredded cheese. For the red half I did the opposite; I put the cheese on nd then I put the sauce on top.

Alternatives include making Kirby by putting the sauce on top for the whole pizza and using olives to make an Unown (the letter shaped Pokemon) in the letter for the birthday person's name

PB & J English Muffins: Personally I thought this was a very cleaver idea, but my brother did not like it because he supposedly hates the English muffins he devours every morning. Anyways, others enjoyed them. I decorated most to look like Pokeballs by using peanut butter for the white part and raspberry jelly for the red part. The Pokeballs can also be made without the peanut butter for those with allergies or do not like peanut butter. Either way you make them, they can easily be turned into Electrode or Voltob Pokemon by adding chocolate chips or a dab of blackberry jelly for the eyes.

Other jelly options include decorating theme as Kirby, Jugglypuff, or Clefairy. A good Pokemon to use for a peanut butter only one is Lunatone. You can also decorate them as different Unown Pokemon. The Unown O is especially nice using blackberry jelly.
