Before your children head out for some sleep over fun, make sure that their bag is packed well. Forgetting one single item can cause your child a lot of stress, and ruin your child's time. Below are some suggestions of what to pack into the bag.

1-3 pairs of pajamas and underwear. (If you know that your child may wet the bed, pack at least 3 pairs of pajamas. It is always best to have an alternative pair of p.j.'s incase something gets spilled on the pair that is being worn.

Bathrobe (optional)- Your child may feel a little exposed or chilly, bathrobes are very swaddle like and will keep your child comfortable.

Toothbrush- Don't forget the toothbrush. This is the most overlooked and yet really important item.

Toothpaste - Pack a travel tube of toothpaste in the bag. You don't want your child to use a social toothbrush.

Slippers- Sometimes socks don't cut it, slippers will keep your child's feet warm.

Towel and wash cloth (if not supplied)

Soap- opt for the hard soap, since the liquid soaps tend to spill in the bag

Shampoo

Deodorant (if needed)

Lotion

Perfume

2 changes of clothes including socks

Sanitary napkins (for older female children)

Hair brush, comb, elastics, hair product

Pillow- Pack a pillow incase there is a shortage of pillows. Your child may feel more comfortable if he takes the pillow that he sleeps with every night with him.

Sleeping bag

Comforter (if not supplied, if needed)

Comfort toy or device ( a book, a cd player, a cd) Your child may become homesick and possibly a little scared so pack along something that will keep his anxiety at bay.

Medicine- this is very important, be sure to pack all the medicine and equipment that your child needs; insulin asthma pump etc. Teach your kid not to be embarrassed to take medicine, advise your kid to go with host of the party into a different room where he could comfortably take his medication.

Depends (if needed)- Some children may need them, others will not so if your child doe need them pack a couple, and tell your kid to change in a bathroom, so that the other children will not pick fun.

Camera to take pictures of all the fun!

Snacks - just in case you child gets a little hungry.
