Trying to lose weight is always a battle. Here's some food that will actually help burn weight just by eating them. Certain foods help you to burn a greater number of calories than the calorie value of the food itself. Other foods also help speed up your metabolism which will help you burn more fat. Grapefruit
Grapefruit is said to help curb snacking urges. Grapefruit helps lower the insulin levels and scientist speculate that this why grapefruit will help with snacking urges. Sprinkling a little Splenda or other sugar substitute will help if you find the grapefruit to tart.
Green Tea
Green tea will help speed up your metabolizing. Green tea is classified as a negative calorie food since it usually takes longer and more energy to digest it then calories amount that is in it. Research claims that five cups a day will help you burn 70 to 80 calories.
Spicy Food
Spicy food like cayenne, hot sauce, hot chilies or red pepper flakes will also burn fat for you. Cayenne triggers a thermodynamic burn that lasts hours after eating. Peppers have capsaicin which produce a stress hormones that revs the metabolic rate burning more calories Spicy foods will also make you sweat and raise your heart-rate which will increase your metabolism.
Dairy
Dairy food contains calcium also inhibits the production of a hormone called calcitriol, that tells cells to generate more fat. Studies have shown that a low-fat or nonfat dairy products can help you lose more weight.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon helps metabolize sugars more effectively. It will also help lower the body's blood sugar level. High blood sugar levels and excess sugar in the blood can lead to fat storage. Cinnamon is also a great natural way to sweeten your food.
Protein
You will burn more calories digesting protein then digesting carbs or fats. Protein is also very important for building muscles and muscles are a fat burns. Muscles will burn fat even while at rest.
Water
Dehydration will not only slows down your metabolism it also will also lead to sugar cravings. Dehydration also lead to fatigue which will make it less likely for you to exercise. Eight glass of water is recommended per day.
