Starting your day on a positive note is one of the most important things you can do. If you begin the day badly, then chances are, they will continue on the same path. Sometimes we can't help but to have a bad morning due to outside influences, but if you utilize some of the tips in this article, you will be more prepared to deal with any unwelcome surprises. Here are some suggestions in no particular order.

Prepare for your tomorrow today--Before your head hits the pillow to go to sleep each night, ask yourself what you will need for a great morning. The answers to this question are varied, but it is a fantastic starting point. Go ahead and get your coffee maker ready to go. Lay out all your clothes, shaving materials, towels, and any other items used to get ready. Have all of your everyday type things lying where you will use them, and you start your day off right. Do the same for your kids.

Eat breakfast as a family unit--There are a million reasons for a good breakfast every morning. There are even more reasons for your whole family to enjoy that breakfast together. It can be used to help you take control of the day, review what everyone is doing, and any special information affecting the day. Much has been written about sharing supper/dinner together, but to me, breakfast is just as vital. Having a full tummy to start out your day will help you get motivated for whatever your day might bring.

Take the time to exercise--Make sure that you get up early enough to get in fifteen to twenty minutes of exercise. Folks, if you want to feel good all day, there is nothing else on this list that will do as much as this. If you do this as a family, then give yourself extra credit, because you are creating wonderful habits for your kids. They will carry this habit into a long healthy future.

Create a spot for all out the door must haves--You really need to have a specific place that you keep the things you take with you the next day. Briefcases. keys, purses, bookbags, gym bag, etc..... All of these things should be centrally located, and easily found when it is time to go.

Takeaways
  • Prepare for tomorrow today.
  • Breakfast as a unit is very important
  • Exercise is the best way to energize your day

Agreed, exercise and a good breakfast are key. A fine relaxing tea also works miracles.
