There is a friend in whom I trust,
Her name is Elizabeth.
She has stood by my side throughout the years,
And filled my heart, and wiped my tears.

Even when I thought all wast lost,
She stuck right by me to show her trust.
I know she loves me though she doesn't say,
And she will keep on loving me till her last day.

Here's the odd part about our relationship,
We have still not met to this day.
"So how do you know that she loves you?" you may ask.

I know because she tells me in the way she writes,
And how she loves me is so obvious.

"Then how can she wipe away your tears?" you ask with another question.
Elizabeth has been with me all these years.

This must have been a lost love. Hope you two find each other again.
