All across the United States, children are getting ready for a party on either July 20th or July 21st. Libraries and bookstores across the country are planning parties and celebrations in honor of the release date on July 21st of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Parties are complete with decorations, games, refreshments, and wizards. The really scary part is, some of these wizards may not be dressed up in costumes. Some of them are going to be the real thing. You might be confused as to how there can be real wizards in our modern day world? Read on to find out how.

I came across a piece stating that the Gray School of Wizardry had been asked by various people across the United States if they could provide authentic looking wizards for the celebrations around the country.

The wizards are loaned courtesy of The Grey School of Wizardry., The school was founded in 2004 and recognized in California as a nonprofit educational institution. They even have a headmaster whom some claim looks like Dumbldore. According to Wizard News he calls himself "The real Albus Dumbledore." His name is Oberon Zell-Ravenheart, although for some reason, I don't think that is his real name.

According to their website, a team of about 24 mages and sages got together in 2003 to put together the best lessons from many of the communities best respected teachers. They compiled this information into the Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, compiled by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart. They even offer classes to adults and teenagers alike. Presently, they offer 20 different classes on wizardry and magic.

Supposedly the school was contacted when people were planning their Harry Potter parties and were asked if they could loan some real looking wizards for these events. The headmaster has scheduled different wizards to be at these events, complete with cloaks, robes, hats, and wands. Many of the wizards come in their own authentic hair, no wig attached for the authentic Dumbledore look.

I checked out the website after reading this. Glad to say no one is getting Federal financial aid to go to wizarding school. :) But it does look like fun.
