I haven't' been buying many anti-aging products because frankly they are either ridiculously expensive and/or I don't believe they work. When I woke up one day and saw that the skin under my eyes didn't bounce back to where the skin was supposed to be I spent twenty minutes in the cosmetic department of my local drugstore. I decided on Advanced RevitaLift Double Eye Lift by L'Oreal for no particular reason. At close to $17.00 for .5 fluid ounces it was in the price range of other brand names.

When I bought this I didn't pay attention to the fact it said Double Eye Lift on the package. Needless to say I was surprise when I went to use it and found that it had two separate exits for the cream. The first thing I had to do was prime the bottle by tapping it on the side of my sink and then I pressed the pump a couple of times. It was then ready to be used.

I had and still have a hard time getting the plastic cap off the top. It's slippery so I use a towel to get it off. There are two steps. Step 1 involves the white side of the applicator. This is the Under Eye Anti-Wrinkle Cream. By pushing down slightly on the white section the white lotion comes out. I just use a little bit and dab it under my eyes and next to my eyes where I have some lines. The instructions confirmed my knowledge that the ring finger is the finger that uses the least pressure thus that is the one to use when working with delicate skin. The under eye area is very delicate. The lotion absorbs immediately and is very easy to use.

Step 2 comes next. This is the red section. This section dispenses the Upper Eye Lifting Gel. This gel is pink and like the white lotion goes on easily and absorbs quickly. I just use a little bit on my upper eyes.

Does this do anything?

Well I really haven't seen anything different in my upper eye area. The pink gel is supposed to give me an immediate lifting sensation. I am very cynical about these products so note the word sensation. Perhaps I feel a bit of tingling but that's it.
