There has been a shakeup at the top in the FIFA World Rankings. After winning the Copa America, Brazil has reclaimed the number one FIFA ranking. Argentina's second-place Copa finish was enough to make them number two in the world. Italy dropped to three, France dropped to four and Germany dropped to five.

The Netherlands jumped up three spots from nine to six, Croatia moved into the top ten with a seventh place result and Portugal and Spain both moved down two spots to eight and nine respectively.

All teams that did well in the Copa America were rewarded this month. Mexico made the most impressive jump to move into the top ten. They moved from 26 to 10. Peru jumped 14 spots to make number 50 and Uruguay moved up 11 spots to number 19.

Ghana and Switzerland fell the most. Ghana fell 18 spots to number 37 and Switzerland dropped 20 spots to number 45.

The United States, winners of the Gold Cup, moved up two places to number 14.

Brazil has not been world class recently. They have been the best team in the world through their existence and have averaged the number 1 ranking throughout. They don't deserve the ranking right now. They lost early in the World Cup and they only beat two decent teams in the Copa, Uruguay, 19th, and Argentina, 2. Brazil benefitted from a lack of European action, but they do not deserve the number 1 ranking. The ranking isn't about history it's about who is best now. I find it hard to believe that a team that exits the World Cup in the quarterfinals is the best in the world. Also, Brazil hasn't missed a World Cup, but they don't qualify in a region like Europe, which is much more competitive.

Brazil deserve to be number one in FIFA ranking. the World Soccer must respect the brazilian Football the two facts the way I see it. First is the only Country which has never mis any World Cup Football Finals since the bigining in 30s if I'm not wrong. Has won the World Cup five times record that they held uptodate. additional, Brazilian are unpredictable you have to wait for 90 menutes of football playing to see the results before that you would be telling lies. Ihave been follwing the team since 1970 that is my Conclution. The World have to agree that Brazilian are the best no matter the results Lets learn from them.
