There has been a shakeup at the top in the FIFA World Rankings. After winning the Copa America, Brazil has reclaimed the number one FIFA ranking. Argentina's second-place Copa finish was enough to make them number two in the world. Italy dropped to three, France dropped to four and Germany dropped to five.The Netherlands jumped up three spots from nine to six, Croatia moved into the top ten with a seventh place result and Portugal and Spain both moved down two spots to eight and nine respectively.
All teams that did well in the Copa America were rewarded this month. Mexico made the most impressive jump to move into the top ten. They moved from 26 to 10. Peru jumped 14 spots to make number 50 and Uruguay moved up 11 spots to number 19.
Ghana and Switzerland fell the most. Ghana fell 18 spots to number 37 and Switzerland dropped 20 spots to number 45.
The United States, winners of the Gold Cup, moved up two places to number 14.
