I recently went to see the new contemporary Christian group, 33Miles at the "Music at the Mills" series at Opry Mills Mall held by a local Nashville Christian radio station. I had heard the band's song, "What Could Be Better" on the radio, and when I heard about the concert, I knew I had to go. I tend to be very picky when it comes to music and buying CDs but I felt so touched by the group's music and their message that I went ahead and splurged.

The single, "What Could Be Better" is a fun, upbeat song that makes you want to stand up, dance and clap your hands in praise of Jesus. It paints a great picture of people dancing on streets of gold, celebrating their eternal life in Heaven and feeling higher than is fathomable. The album contains a variety of sounds, from upbeat songs like "What Could Be Better", "Come With Me" and "Thank You", to songs that are more emotional, like "There Is A God", a ballad about seeing God not just through nature, science or the Bible, but through living, breathing human beings living their lives as Christian representations of God and His love. Then there is "Stand Amazed", a great song about finding Jesus through all the moments of life and being amazed by the wonderful things He has done in our lives. The group also covered "When I Get Where I'm Going", which was recently recorded by country stars Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton. The 33Miles rendition is far more mainstream and with passion like this group has, it is hard not to sing along.
