I once lived in this life I died in.
I had a chance to be rectified.
My eyes seen all the mistakes you called chances.
My heart bled every time you lied.

It never lasts,
it always ends.
That's the theme inside your mind.

Pills drown the nightmares,
your eyes see with bad intent.
This is your logic, not mine.

Look around, we all lay dead.
Our souls are used to harvest the lost.
I tried to help by holding out my hand,
but yet again it was refused at all cost.

It never lasts,
it always ends.
These are the words you hate but justify.

Skin turns to ash in your nightmares again.
You look at me with bad intent,
the pills never worked, wonder why...

You're selfish and psychotic in your logic and love it.
You suffocate me in your tainted platonic needs, you can shove it!
Why did you do this? How did it turn out like this?
Did you see the knife on my wrist?
You said you cared but as I laid dying,
you wouldn't bring the kiss of life to my lips.

You're selfish and ambitious, but you can't make a decision.
Your eyes turned to black coal, because you lost your soul.
I see the gleam as you want to give up,
Is your life not tragic enough?

You want it all but you can't have it,
so you'll take most and go.
You leave your name as something to be remembered.
But you have a face that no one will ever know.
