It seems that more and more families are slowly learning how to work with a budget. Many are finding that it is a problem to create a budget for them. That is why a lot more people are now paying others to come up with a budget for them. This can actually be a good business venture for a stay at home parent who is trying to think of different work at home jobs. First of all you need to be able to create a good budget for yourself first, before you even think about trying to create a budget for someone else.

If you are able to successful create a budget for your self than you may be able to accomplish the same task for others. Obviously this type of business will involve you gaining peoples trust since you will be knowing a lot of their personal finance business. In order to run this type of business however you don't need the exact specifics on what they spend their money on. You basically need to find out from the individual how much money they would like to spend on or save each month. For example if they are trying to save one hundred and fifty dollars a month, then you will need to have them do the following. First you will need to have a chart prepared where they can fill in the amount of money that they spend for each. Starting with their grocery bill, and right on down to their monthly electric and gas bill. Then your objective would be to figure out how to get an extra one hundred and fifty dollars from that amount without completely walking around in the dark, or starving the family.
