Looking for the best "slab" in San Francisco?  Look no further than the Website, burritoeater.com.  The site, which was recently mentioned in a New York Times article on the Mission District in San Francisco, is a wildly hillarious look at the ultra competitive taqueria scene in The City by The Bay.  All I could gather from the site is that it is narrarated by a man who calls himself "Beano," just like the college football commentator Beano Cook.  "Beano" makes habitual visits to a wide range of San Francisco's thousands of taquerias (but never two days in a row!), and follows up with a summary of the experience on the site, along with placement of that day's burrito on a "10-Mustache Rating Scale."

If you are seriously looking for a tasty burrito, the site is second to none.  (Although I am hard pressed to find another source solely devoted to a survey of the San Francisco taqueria landscape).  Broken done by taqueria name, neighborhood, rating, and number of visits, you can find a burrito based upon any variable from location to quality.  The mustache rating scale measures each burrito, or "slab" as it is called on the site, based on various factors ranging from spiciness to construction (if the burrito contents are able to stay inside the tortilla for the duration of the dining experience) to quality and taste of the ingredients.  But beyond it's great utilitarian uses, burritoeater.com is hillarious.  Burritoeater.com is simply one of the more entertaining Websites out there, regardless of the subject matter.
