The Motorola Razr phone has become the slim, trim cell phone of choice for those who wish to appear 'cool'. This phone has a lot of bang for your buck, and the price has come down considerably since its first debut. Coming in at right around $450 back in late 2004, this phone now sells for under $200 on Amazon.com.Chock-full of features, it's hard to know where to begin. For starters, the Motorola Razr phone uses a 'quad band' system that reportedly allows users to access phone service in over 100 countries worldwide. Talk about being the phone of choice for the insider 'jet set'. The Razr phone captures the attention of the worldwide phone market with this feature alone.
Another feature of the most advanced cell phones these days is the size factor. It wasn't that long ago that my Motorola phone looked like an overgrown Star Trek communicator. With the Motorola Razr phone, it's slim, trim, and out of sight! Weighing in at 3.4 oz., it measures 3.9" tall, 2.1" wide, and an amazing 0.6" in depth. Incredible technology, especially considering all of the extras that are packed into this small of a package.
As for features, let's start with the basics. Of course, there is a place for all of your contacts ... up to 1,000 of them to be precise. With an address book that will hold six phone numbers and an e-mail address for each entry, this is plenty for most people. An additional 250 contacts can be stored if you get the optional SIM card installed. Next up is the camera. Surprisingly, the highest resolution available is only 640x480. You can use the 4X zoom feature to get up close to your target, and it even has a timer, in case you want to be in the picture yourself! Other camera controls include brightness and exposure settings, with a variety of six lighting conditions.
