Open Letter to My Ex, Stuff Your $1.55 Child Support Payment

I chose to write and publish this article for all of us custodial parents who deal with deadbeat spouses and co-parents. The deadbeats who do not have the time or energy to support the children they helped to create. I for one am sick of it and hey, if I cannot get the money I will make darn sure my voice is heard. Let my voice be the voice of many.

Open Letter to my sperm donor

Well your child support came this week. It was not the 101 dollars that was court ordered but 1.55. That is right one dollar and 55 cents for groceries for the kids this week. I am so glad that I actually work to support them, and do not rely on others to take care of my God Given responsibilities. Imagine your boss paying you a dollar fifty-five for your pay, you would not like him. Our children know the amount of the child support they have received for this week and are drawing their own conclusions.

I talked with people at work about this child support and I asked them how I should spend our big 1.55. One of the girls said to buy 2 bags of m and m's, because I could easily stretch it to last a week, if I divided them up and made them stretch. Another female said I could grab a burger of a dollar menu, cut it in half, and offer it in small amounts to our sons. All kidding aside a dollar fifty-five just does not cut it, heck you cannot even buy a bottle of your beer with it.

I understand you are still very angry because I did not want to share you with your girlfriend, but is that any excuse to be ignoring our children as you do. Tough crap as they say. God gave us these three children, he did not just give them to me, and I should not have the total financial responsibility toward raising them.

We have not had the full child support payments in a while now, because you feel the need to take off from work to go ahead and party with your friends. Imagine me saying sorry kids I cannot feed you today because I want to go play with my friends instead. I hope your friends will take care of you when you get older, you sperm donor.
