There are a lot of questions to be answered regarding the 2007 New York Giants. The retirement of Tiki Barber has left the Giants without one their biggest playmakers on offense and they will now have to rely on Eli Manning to develop into the quarterback they expected to get when they scooped him in the 2004 draft. This will also be another year that Tom Coughlin will be on the hot seat. Will the fiery general be able to lead his team past the first round of the playoffs? Can the Giants quit the chatter amongst each other that seemed to divide the locker room in 2006?

Quarterbacks
Eli Manning's first two seasons as the starting quarterback has been like a rollercoaster. During the first half of the season, Eli is on fire, showing glimpses of the Manning gene pool that seems to bless his older brother Peyton. When the season starts to wind down and the pressure of the playoffs grow, Eli's production goes way down and the Giants suffer. Without Tiki Barber to bail him out, we may see a bigger decline in his play. He will need the help from all of his receivers if they want to stay competitive in the NFC East this season.

Running Backs
Brandon Jacobs will try to fill the shoes of Tiki Barber who has been their biggest playmaker for the past few years. The question is whether Jacobs can produce enough yards to keep the offense balanced? He's proven to be a strong third down back that is a weapon in the red zone. He will need to become an "every down" back this season. The Giants also added Rueben Droughns to the line-up as insurance just in case Jacobs, who has a history with injuries, goes down. Droughns is smaller, but runs with the same ferocity and power as Jacobs.
