I would like to see HOW the scholars and clerics answer these questions. Will they support their assertions with the Koran, Hadith, Tariq, and Tafsir? Will their interpretations be new, or will they square with 1,400 years of Islamic jurisprudence? Even, I can answer the last question. Certain verses in the Koran are trumped by other ones. I beleive this idea comes from of Surah 2:106. Most of the peaceful Surahs (like "no compulsion in religion") are trumped by better, more violent ones.

Hi T.H., I think it will be interesting to see if they all turn out to be apologists for Islam. I'd like to see even harder questions asked, frankly. Our president is still under the impression that it's a "religion of peace." Sorry, I'm just not seeing it, and I think we're kidding ourselves. I'm going to check it out too.

This is quite interesting. I hope they (Muslim clerics) directly answer the first and last listed question here. I just may tune into this that week. Thanks.
