Fun Ways to Introduce Science to Your Child at Home

Indoors, you may want to show your toddler or preschooler how to blow up balloons and see if they can do so themselves. When doing so, you will want to have a few balloons that are tied. You and your child can experiment with rubbing them on your heads, for static electricity, or you can pop them and discuss the deflation and why it happens. It would also be neat to blow up a few balloons and then release them into the air. Your child will likely enjoy seeing their balloons fly through the air and it is a process that you and toddler or preschool can later discuss.
