Top Five Things Dick Cheney Can Do While He's President for the Day

The USA will get to see what would be like if President George Bush gave up the White House. On Saturday, Vice President Dick Cheney will become the President while President Bush undergoes a colonoscopy. The president will be under anesthesia, thereby requiring the transfer of power.

Dick Cheney can make good use of his couple of hours as the top political leader in the world.

1. He can end the war in Iraq. Call an emergency session with the Senate and Congress and sign the papers. I think Bush would kill him afterward, but what is done would be done.

2. Repeal the Patriot Act. Lets get real, the only people benefiting from it are the new employees at the CIA, FBI, and other Homeland Security officials.

3. He can raise taxes on the rich. That would definately be taking one for the team. I mean he is rich, but what's a mear hundred grand to uncle sam when you probably have millions in secret swiss bank accounts.

4. He can fire Attorney General Anthony Gonzolas. That would end all the inquiries from the various senate committees.

5. He could uncommute Lewis Libby's sentence. Boy, that would get him some press. Do it in the Paris Hilton fashion and have the police pick her up with TMZ watching.

Just think, in a couple of hours President Dick Cheney could undo years worth of damage. Of course, he might lose the Vice Presidency afterward, but he is on the last 18 months anyway.

When President Bush is alert and awake after seeing how much junk is in his bumm, he can just hit the bottle and then thank Cheney for getting him out of what he did not have the courage to do.
