Rhode Island is a Shopper's Paradise with Factory Outlet Savings

The New England region is noted for its great factory outlet malls. In fact, Maine is known as the outlet shopping capital of New England. New Hampshire is not far behind, with much of Route 16 in North Conway filled with outlets, as well as the state's Lakes region. In Vermont, outlet deals can be found in Manchester, while Massachusetts has Fall River, long home to a number of famous outlets, Wrentham Village Premium Outlets in Wrentham, and many others on Cape Cod and throughout the vast state. Even Connecticut has made a name for itself with its upscale outlets, such as Clinton Crossings with its designer savings. But wedged between all the great savings in these giant New England states is little Rhode Island. The state may be small, but it makes up for it with its diverse array of factory outlets that are sure to please the savvy shopper.

One of the advantages that Rhode Island has over other New England states with factory outlet shopping centers is its compact size. As a result, you could travel from one end of the state to the other in less than an hour buying up bargains galore. Granted, you won't find a major factory outlet complex in Rhode Island as you would in other states, but you will find relaxed shopping and plenty of close to the door parking.

Many of Rhode Island's factory outlets are located in the northern part of the state, so a good starting point is Woonsocket.
