Are you visiting Disneyland for your birthday? If you are you will be the envy of all your friends and family members you take with you. Visiting Disneyland at anytime is fantastic for most of us. Going during the holidays is even better. However if you ever find the chance to visit Disneyland Resort on your birthday jump at the chance. Disneyland loves to celebrate any holiday or celebration, they will do their best to make your special day a dream come true.

As soon as you arrive at Disneyland resort stop and ask for a birthday button. You can find these buttons in City Hall inside Disneyland, town square where the wait board line information is, Guest Services in Disney's California Adventure, or the Guest Services booth located in the plaza area between Disneyland and California Adventure. If you stop by City Hall you might also get a very special birthday phone call from someone special. As you wear the button throughout the day you will notice that many of the Cast Member's will wish you a happy birthday. You might also get a few extra CM favors throughout your visit, such as an extra fastpass, an extra ride (instead of getting off the ride they let you go again), or a special desert with your meal.

If you are up to some good old fashioned fun make priority seating (reservations) for Pat E. Cake's Birthday Party. This is held every afternoon at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland. Basically it is a birthday party with Chef Pat E. Cake presiding. You receive a plain cake, red, blue, and yellow frosting, and assorted sprinkles. Pat E Cake sets the challenge for a cake decorating contest. It ends with everyone being the winner. While eating your freshly made birthday cake Mickey and Minnie Mouse come out for a Meet and Greet with photo opportunities. As the festivities come to an end you can choose to take your leftover cake with you.
