One thing to keep in mind when on date that he or she may not be who they claim to be. A date can tell you almost any lie. Here are ten tips on how to protect yourself from harm while dating.

Don't be alone with your date.

Don't ever be alone with your date in a car or outside in the middle of nowhere. You don't know what type of person that they might be. You need to find out further information in order to tell if she or he is a good person that would never hurt anyone.

Don't leave your purse near your date.

Your purse often has information in it such as your home address or other important information. You don't want your date to go through your purse to find that information. Keep the information safe by not letting your purse be around your date.

Borrow a car before you go on a date.

It is better to be safe so make sure to borrow a car. Why? So the person can't stalk you later on if he or she turns out to be a creep. You want to be safe so don't bring your own car, but instead bring your friends car.

Don't tell your date about your place of employment.

You want to keep that information a secret til you get to know the person better. You could tell them what type of work you do, but don't reveal where you work at exactly. You need to be even more careful in a smaller town than you do a big city. For example, a big city has more manufacturing plants than a small town does most likely.

Don't let your date know how much money that you have.

Be careful of person who will just use you for money. You want to be careful. If you have allot of money then you need to drive a downscale car to the date. You want to give them the impression that you make an average amount of money. This will most likely turn off the money users from being interested in you.

Don't let your date touch you.

Don't let your date touch you. Be cautious of any attempts at touching on the few dates or so. You don't want your date to be able to overpower you. Don't allow he or she to touch you in anyway whatsoever. You don't want them to try anything bad with you so don't allow any touching to begin in the first place.

Don't let your date know that you live alone.
