Take one look at the LG Tromm Steam Washer and you will be convinced that it is one of the nicest, high tech, water conserving appliances in the market. You will also be convinced that your clothes will be clean, white, and fresh after cycling through this machine. It tops any consumer washing machine I have ever seen. It is efficient, large capacity, sleek, and Energy Star rated.

The LG Tromm Steam Washer is, according to Tromm, "America's first steam laundry system." The steam function is optional and can be added to any heated wash cycle. Once you realize the potential of the steam system to clean better, loosen dirt, and dissolve cleaning agents, you will want to use it as often as possible. The steam function can also be used without the laundry cycle to freshen clothing. The steam clean alone could save us over $50 a month on dry cleaning bills. According toLG Tromm, the steam cleaning function will freshen up cotton blend shirts and blouses without water. Up to 5 items can be steam cleaned in 20 minutes in the LG Tromm Steam Washer.

If you are washing a large load of laundry, the LG Tromm Steam Washer should accommodate your needs. According to LG, the washer is a 4.0 cubic foot capacity front loader. This is the largest capacity front load washer available. There is no need to worry about clumps of powder detergent, or sticky residue from liquid detergents, because the blast of steam helps dissolve the cleaning agents, allowing them to do the job they were meant to do.

The built in steam generator is the feature that sets the LG Tromm washer apart. This contraption helps conserve water usage up to 75%, according to LG. Once the water is converted to steam a nozzle sprays bursts of steam into the laundry drum. The NeverRust Stainless Steel drum is tilted 10 degrees so you can easily reach clothes that fall to the back. It spins at 1320 RPM, for maximum water extraction. The drum operates on an extremely durable Direct Drive Motor, for maximum life. The drum is also equipped with roller jets and forced water circulation.

The best WM I ever had !!!!.... even the dryer senses out the humidity so your clothes are dry and machine will stop; plus it will tell you once they are 80% ready and with the wrinkle care function your clothes can stay there up to 4 hrs. with no wrinkles. Nice job LG

This would encourage me to wash everything washable in the house! I'd love this washing machine, but I'm going to have to write a lot more to get one. I guess it sometimes takes money to save money. Very thorough info!

The washing machine is a tad expensive, but if you end up saving $50 in energy bills a month, then it would be worth it. Sophie

Wow! That is a neat washing machine. Pricey yes, but, think of how much you would save from the dry cleaners. I think I might have to look into one of these. I like the remote monitor idea. I often get busy with other things and forget about the load in the washer until it is too late. Thanks for the article. It is very informative.
