Do you know that green tea is amazing? Seriously it is. Green tea is wonderful! I'm not going into this article of what green tea is. However, I will tell you all the health benefits of green tea. Green tea is usually drank hot or cold. I myself like it both ways sweetened with just a little honey or some times nothing at all. Remember even though it is amazing and many of people have experienced great things with green team it hasn't been proven by the FDA. So if you try green tea hoping it will heal an aliment you pretty much try it at your own risk! With that said here are some claims that people say green tea has helped them with:

- Weight loss: It is said that drinking a couple glasses a day can actually help you loose weight with the compo-nit that is in green tea called EGCG. This is said
to help speed up the metabolism and help one to loose weight.

- Cure, treat or prevent cancer: Again it is said that drinking a lot of green tea can prevent cancer. However it has also been given to others that have already had cancer and they have said that it had help them. It is said to kill cancer cells and not harm the good much needed healthy cells.

- Lower hight cholesterol levels

- Stop or Prevent infection(s)

- Help with rheumatoid arthritis

- Help cardiovascular disease

- Help repair impaired immune system function

Remember that you should always follow the care of a doctor before you decide to use green tea as medicinal. And if you are taking other medications make sure to keep taking them or to make sure they will not interact with green tea. Because there are some things out there that will. And another thing with drinking green tea, make sure you are not consuming too much caffeine which can easily happen if you keep drinking glass after glass of green tea. However, this is an old drink that is making a classic come back into the United States as around the rest of the world.

TIP: to make a cup of Hot Green Tea. Make sure to not let the green tea bags seep in the cup way too long. This will make the tea taste bitter! So unlike black tea usual seep time is 2 to 3 minutes.
