You can rent DVDs for pretty cheap at certain locations. Grocery stores often have DVDs available for rent for $1.00 or somewhere in that price range. You can often find some of the best deals at the grocery stores. Another option to check out is mom and pop video rental stores. They will often have excellent deals there.
Go to the $1.50 Movies
Somewhere in a city or town is a $1.50 movie theater usually. Some of the movie theaters often have $0.50 cents nights during the week. You may be able to even find a movie theater that is $0.50 all times for each night of the week to see a movie. You can look around in the older movie theaters in order to find this type of price.
See movies during the day
The prices for watching movies during the day at movie theaters is much cheaper. You could almost half price by going during the day instead of night. Make sure to go to the movies before 6 pm in order to get the best price. You want to save as much money as possible when going to the movies.
Borrow DVDs from your friends
You can swap DVDs from your friends. This is a great method for you and your friends to see movies for cheap. It is a win win situation since you save each other money and get to see a variety of movies. Try it out sometime.
Buy DVDs from the clearance section
The clearance section often has cheap DVDs. You could find some of the older movies on DVDs for cheap. They usually range from anywhere from $3.00 to $5.00 depending upon which stores that you shop at. Check out the clearance sections at a variety of different stores in order to find the best place on old DVDs.
