Could Spore Be the Best Game Ever

A couple of weeks ago at E3 people were excited about many games coming out in the next year or so. Assassin's Creed, Metal Gear Solid 4, Halo 3, and Super Mario Galaxy were among the most talked about games but there was one game that was not covered much at E3 and it's unfortunate because this game could be better than all of those; this game could be the best game ever made. The video game is called Spore.

I'm honestly not even sure if Spore was covered at E3 because the creator of Spore, Will Wright, has already shown a 35-minute demonstration of the game previously and it is mind blowing (look for it on YouTube).

In Spore you basically start off as this little blob. You wander around eating until you are able to evolve. Once you are able to evolve you change your creature. Add some fins if you like or add a spike on him to impale other creatures, whatever you like. Eventually your creature continues to evolve and you can add, arms, legs, feet and everything else.

In the creature editor you can also change the shape of each part of the body making the possibilities for your creature endless. If you're creative enough and good at using the editor then you could probably make an actual animal like a lion or a spider, but that's no fun. With this editor you can probably make a lion with spider legs. The player can probably even make creatures from famous movies like the alien from Alien or wookies from Star Wars. In Will Wright's demonstration he actually made a Care Bear.

One of the impressive things about the created creature is that the video game will actually calculate how your character would actually move based on the skeleton's structure. If your character has six really short legs the game figures out how a creature like that would actually walk and your character would walk that way.
