Like a lot of little girls, my 4 year old is enchanted with princesses, fairies, and of course the magic wands that is seen in the hands of fairy godmothers and princesses. After watching Shrek 2, I noticed that she would use different objects around the house and pretend it was a wand. She would cast make believe spells and make swirls in the air, imitating her favorite fairy godmother or princess. She probably would have been content playing with her imaginary wand, but I knew she would be delighted if she had a real wand toy instead. As I was looking around, I noticed that there were several different wands to choose from. Disney Princess Talking Wand caught my eye because for one, it talks. Also, my daughter's favorite princesses were were brightly displayed on the front of the wand. For 9.99, I bought this adorable wand and brought it home as a surprise gift for my little one.

Disney Princess Talking Wand

Disney Princess Talking Wand is a 14 inch talking wand that operates on 2 AA batteries (which are included). The handle of the wand is plastic and comes in a pretty pink princess color. There are swirls and hearts covering the wand handle, making it look more like a true wand. On the front of the handle, there are three little purple buttons. The first button has what looks like to be an aqua blue slipper painted on it. When pressed, the top of the wand lights up greeting all with a personal message from Cinderella. On the next button, there is a small red apple. When pressed, the wand once again lights up the three princesses, and we are then greeted with a message from Cinderella. The bottom button is a small yellow rose. As with the other buttons, when pressed the princess faces light up again. This time, Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) speaks up and gives a greeting.

The greetings from each princess are as follows:

Snow White : How do you do? I'm Snow White! Let's make a wish, and wave the wand! (When pressed again): Let's use the magic wand to make dinner for our seven little men.(When pressed for the third and final time): Let's sprinkle some magic around the house!
