Zac Dysertis a three-year starter for Ada High, a Division VI school. During his junior year of high school, Zac Dysert threw for nearly 4,000 yards and scored 38 touchdowns, including eight rushing. He topped 2,500 yards his sophomore year. Dysert has amassed over 8,000 passing yards in his high school career.
Dysert has made the OHSAA football record books in several categories, including passing yards in a season, passing touchdowns in a season. He is ranked Number 8 for his 517 individual passing yards in single game and is number 17 for passing yards in a career with 5,974.
Zac Dysert received the honor Division VI Offensive Player of the Year his junior year and is regarded by many as one of the class of 2008's most accomplished high school quarterbacks from the State of Ohio. Prior to his junior year, Dysert was confered such honors as Northwest Conference Player of the Year and 1st team All-Ohio. Dysert will be featured in USA Today as one of the top 50 high school football players from the class of 2008.
In addition to his exceptional football skills, Zac Dysert is an accomplished high school basketball player and has averaged twenty points per game.
Zac Dysert's plans for the future
In one interview, Dysert stated that he had 12 offers from colleges, including Miami (OH), Toledo, Ball State, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, and Kansas. In addition to the schools that have given him formal offers, Dysert has also been recruited by Pittsburgh, Purdue, and Michigan State, but Dysert has expressed the strongest interest in attending either Miami or Cincinnati and said he planned to make his decision by the end of June 2007.
